We met Jason at the AutoMotion car show in Wisconsin Dells.  He had trusted another shop to build him the car of his dreams, and ended up with a large bill and a car that didn’t run.  The car represented the kind of work that some shops are producing.  This car had only 10 miles on it after being built.  We found in it a motor with improper clearances and a broken transmission.  Jason was gracious enough to allow us to build his Camaro the way it should have been built the first time, and we believe we did just that.

Jason’s freshly rebuilt big block ready to be installed.  This rebuild included a rebalanced crankshaft, new connecting rods, pistons, and an array of other changes designed to help Jason get the most out of his 454.

Amos is completing the reinstallation of the engine and transmission.

Included in Jason’s car is all of the proper safety equipment, from a roll cage to proper harnesses, to ensure safety accompanies all of his new found power.

Here is the cockpit of Jason’s Camaro, including all necessary gauges and racing harnesses.

Safety always remaining a priority, Jason’s Camaro is outfitted with a 10-point roll cage.

As always we make use of our in house chassis dyno to final tune and break-in Jason’s new improved ride! See the dyno sheet below, and remember this is actual rear wheel horsepower and torque; the engine has way more than this, and it’s streetable.

The freshly rebuilt big block installed, waiting for all the accessories and a fresh tune.

Completely installed and ready-to-go, the Camaro is ready for the dyno.
