“Dyno Dave” Harvath is the head mechanic and owner of D&D Mods and Rods.  
Dave has sixteen years of experience in automotive repair and has been A.S.E.
Master certified for the last eight. He has drag raced (IHRA) at the professional
level for five years.  He has run three different cars—all built by himself from the
ground up—in IHRA sanctioned competitions.  He was the IHRA Division III runner
up two years in a row.  He was the winner of the wheel stand competition in 1999.
Literally, he has made thousands of 1/4 mile passes. He has been tuning on this
very dyno for more than three years before taking over the facility, and has laid
down in excess of 1000 rwhp on this very dyno.  He has been building engines,
from stock to full race motors, for more than 10 years.
